What an excellent pilot episode that, whilst 'almost' complete in itself opens up endless future plot possibilities. The lead character is perfectly cast and the plot is thankfully without the usual clichés that seem to beset this genre. I found the show to be completely engaging and paced just right. The lead characters narration never intrudes, instead it intensifies the plot by adding an additional and often alternative perspective to what might easily have been one dimensional scripting. If you are looking for (or expecting) an action packed but ridiculously inaccurate and equally improbable whizz kid hacker adventure I would venture to say with certainty that this series will not satisfy. If, however, you are looking for engaging 'hacker' based entertainment that doesn't offend your sensibilities (or your IQ) then I'd guess you'll enjoy this show. Every aspect from script through lighting to camera angles et al evidenced that great thought had been put into this production by highly skilled and experienced production individuals. I give the pilot a 9 out of ten and as another reviewer has already said I hope the show continues with as much impact as it has started. Entertaining, believable and doesn't require much if any suspension of disbelief on the part of the viewer. Well recommended.
