Storyline
Stitchers follows Kirsten, who has been recruited into a government
agency to be "stitched" into the memories of people recently deceased to
investigate murders and mysteries that otherwise would have gone
unsolved. Cameron, a brilliant neuro-scientist, assists Kirsten in the
secret program headed by Maggie, a skilled covert operator. The program
also includes Linus, a bio-electrical engineer and communications
technician. Camille, Kirsten's roommate and a computer science grad
student, is also recruited to assist Kirsten as a "stitcher".

I
wanted to like it. I tried to like it. I even watched it from start to
finish and that wasn't easy. A thoroughly disappointing effort on fast
forward. It began in top gear and went into overdrive. The speed of the
dialogue I mean. They were all talking so fast it was like trying to
follow 'feudin' ping pong balls'. Maybe they were just trying to fit too
much into one show. It reminded me of being force fed broccoli as a
child anyway. I'm afraid I would have to suspend belief entirely to
watch this. The protagonist is thoroughly unlikable and the 'team' are
clichéd, boring and again, everyone is on speed dial. Was talking fast
all they looked for when they were auditioning? Is everyone on crack? Do
they get paid by the word? I love a good Sci Fi, even a mediocre one is
tolerable but I'm not so masochistic that I'd want to watch any more of
this. Hopefully, it doesn't make it any further than the pilot. The
only redeeming feature was ... sorry, can't find one.
